Since 2011 Evgeny A. Nagornyy is a member of International Union (Commonwealth) of Advocates, Moscow.
Since 2010 Evgeny A. Nagornyy is a member of  International Bar Association.
In 2003 he came back to Russia and was admitted to the Tver Bar, in 2004 he took the position of the Chief of the Kimry representative office of the Tver Bar. He was awarded for successful lawyering by the President of the Federal Bar of Russia (2008).  

He began to work as lawyer in Kazan, took a various positions at public enterprises and worked throughout Russia till 1992 before transitioning into private practice in Kiev (Ukraine). Since 1992 till 2002 he worked in Kiev and throughout Ukraine, took the position of the legal adviser at the largest USA Agency of International Development Project for support small and medium business in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus (1998-1999). As well as he was giving lectures on Commercial Law, International Commercial Transactions and special academic course Protection of Business at the International Science and Technical University (Kiev), and set up the Department of Commercial Law there. In 1999 he was doing independent research at the Conflict Resolution, Research and Resource Institute (Tacoma, Washington, USA) with support by the best mediators and negotiators - William F. Lincoln and Polly C. Davis, received the Certificate of International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX). Evgeny A. Nagornyy is the author of articles and reports at the international conferences and seminars. He was entered into the database of the best specialists of Kiev region (2002).

Evgeny A. Nagornyy graduated from the Law Faculty of the Kazan State University (1980) and obtained his Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the Interregional Academy of Personal Management (Kiev, 1997).
